Another day, but this one feels much more bright somehow. This is just my first focusmate session, and I feel like I’ve gotten much done in terms of thought already.
- Planning to tell everyone that my day was fantastic! I read an insightful comment that ultimately we are in control of how our days are to us. Why do I automatically tell people well or good when I can be fantastic?
- Mediated for about 7 minutes a day. Sounds short but it was one of my longer unguided sessions. I had intruding thoughts, but i feel that I was able to properly label them. I also had some perhaps important thoughts, but I discarded them in order to help with my meditation.
- Trying a new thing where I’m doing most of my todoist items in the first session just to see if I can actually do it. I bet I can!
Anyway not much to write on today since it just started. But I’ve been trying positive techniques to improve mindfulness lately and think it’s actually working quite well!
